A new study has found that left-handed people have better sex lives than those who are right-handed.

Study: Left-handed people have more satisfying sex lives

While left-handed people might struggle with certain things in their everyday lives, such as school desks that do not meet their needs or simple household devices that are designed only with righties in mind, there is one area where they have a distinct advantage – in the bedroom. According to a new survey conducted by the international intimate lifestyle company LELO, those who are left-handed are much more likely to be satisfied with their sex lives.

The company surveyed 10,000 people to ask about their satisfaction level in the bedroom. An overwhelming majority of lefties – 86 percent – reported being "extremely satisfied," trumping the paltry number of righties, who were only at 15 percent. The results of the survey were released to the public at the beginning of April. Although LELO announced the numbers, it could not identify the reasons why left-handed people have better sex lives.

Left-handed people make up just a small percentage of the population across the globe, at just 10 to 14 percent. Men are more likely to be lefties than women, and scientific studies have shown that those who have a dominant left hand are often exposed to a greater amount of testosterone while in the womb, regardless of gender. Some speculate that this increase in the male hormone could lead to a greater assertiveness in bed, which often makes for a better sex life.

No matter what dominant hand you have, it is important to always work for a more physically and emotionally fulfilling time in the bedroom. To help you along, try an arousal gel from Blossom Organics to see if things can heat up from there.
