Couples who cuddle are found to have more satisfying sex lives.

A very simple way to improve your sex life

Couples are always on the lookout for ways they can improve their intimacy and bond as two loving people. While there are those who think that the key to a great sex life is the act itself – and while that certainly is a major part of it – a simple way to improve your life between the sheets may actually be in what comes after you are done. Researchers from Toronto's University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) have discovered that, for a better sex life, couples should cuddle with each other while in bed.

Amy Muise, a sexuality and relationship researcher at UTM, looked at the effects that post-sex behavior has on those who are in committed, monogamous relationships, especially those who are parents. What she found was that what partners do with each other in bed after having sex will greatly impact how they feel not only about their satisfaction level, but their relationship as a whole. Those who engaged in kissing, cuddling and pillow talk were found to be much happier physically and emotionally.

"When people think of sex, they tend to be focused on intercourse or orgasm. This research suggests that other affectionate aspects of sex are important for sexual and relationship satisfaction," Muise wrote in her report. "It is possible that additional bonding time after sex is even more important for couples who may face challenges finding time for intimate connection."

Cuddling after sex is good for your relationship, but make sure you do not overlook the importance of the act itself! If you want you and your partner to have an even better time between the sheets, try a warming lubricant from Blossom Organics!
