Do you feel more attractive during the cooler months?

‘Tis the season for sexual intimacy

Whether you look forward to the leaves changing color, or are just happy for some respite from the sweltering summer heat, the arrival of fall can be cause for celebration on many fronts. After all, the holiday season is just around the corner, and you now have more excuses to get nice and cozy with your significant other on these cool, crisp nights.

We've already talked about some of the benefits of fall for your libido on this blog, citing the wide array of seasonal treats that are also potent aphrodisiacs. Recently, The Huffington Post detailed a few more reasons that this time of year can really get things cooking in the bedroom.

"Autumn is the season when our levels of testosterone – associated with sex drive – are higher than at any other time, found several studies that tracked hormone levels year-round (and yes, this applies to women, too)," the source states.

This boost could also be responsible for the fact that, according to a study cited by the news outlet, men also tend to see women as more alluring during this period. Another possibility for this increased interest is that males are no longer bombarded with images of bronzed bikini bodies, and are therefore less preoccupied with ideas of physical perfection and are more likely to seek out more accessible attributes in a partner.

Whatever the reason for these spikes, why not make sure you are prepared whenever the opportunity arises? By stocking up on your favorite sex aids, you can be sure to take full advantage of this stimulating time of year.
