Left-handed people have better sex, according to a recent survey.

Study: Left-handed people have better sex

According to various studies, only 10 percent of the entire world's population is left-handed. While this is a startling difference, there is recent information that suggests left-handed people have an advantage to righties when it comes to one important are of our lives — in the bedroom. A new global study from the sex toy company Lelo conducted toward the end of 2014 has found that people who identify as lefties are more satisfied with their sex lives than their right-handed counterparts.

Of the 10,000 people who were surveyed, a full 86 percent of lefties rated themselves "extremely satisfied" with their sex lives. When asked the same question, only a 15 percent of righties had the same response, paling in comparison. What is interesting in the survey is that the team behind it does not offer any concrete reasons for why people who are left-handed are so much happier in the bedroom than righties, although a report from Time Magazine offers a couple of reasons as to why this is the case.

The news source suggests that lefties must have a greater degree of ingenuity in a world that is geared towards those who are right-handed. This has the possibility of translating to greater skills in the bedroom, because lefties are more determined to master the skills necessary for a full and satisfying sex life. This is just a theory, however, as it will likely need more research to determine the actual reasons behind this phenomenon.
